Against this background, we have been choosing “Hamburgs beste Arbeitgeber“ (Hamburg’s best employers”) for over 10 years.
The companies awarded on the basis of a survey of employees can score points with applicants, their own employees and customers. In addition, the scientific feedback provides valuable information on how to improve HR work.

The award is based on a survey of trainees and those responsible for training at the participating companies. On the one hand, questions are asked about personal satisfaction with the training company. On the other hand, important objective content is also collected, which, measured against generally recognized requirements, represents a good training company.

Being a good employer is a value in itself. However, this only unfolds its full effect for your own personnel marketing if potential applicants also know about it. The „Excellent Employer“ award helps effectively to increase your own visibility. When surveying the employees and executives of the companies that apply for the award as „Excellent Employer“, we focus on a total of 16 factors of employer attractiveness. Here, basic assessments are shown in exactly those areas in which employers differ significantly in terms of their attractiveness.
We award the „Excellent Employer“ award annually and in various regions nationwide. From Hamburg and the local regions, we control all related procedures and processes and are responsible for everything to do with the „Excellent Employer“ award.

For some companies it is interesting to have their own attractiveness as an employer surveyed and evaluated without taking part in an employer competition or an official classification. We offer various solutions for this, which correspond in type to a classic employee survey. However, the specific content that relates to the company as an attractive employer is recorded. As limited as this approach may appear, it is advantageous at second glance: Customers who opt for an individual survey apart from an employer competition still benefit from the numerous benchmark information on which our competitions are based.
On-Site Analysis
Capture your own attractiveness as an employer in dialogue!
Interested companies can have themselves assessed as part of an audit: In which areas is your own attractiveness as an employer to be rated as outstanding? Which areas are within the norm? Where is there still room for improvement?
In the course of the audit, e.g. corporate culture, family friendliness, promotion of women, health management, promotion of young talent, dealing with demographic change, innovation culture or training and further education are evaluated.
Which areas are to be given particular importance is agreed individually beforehand, as is the specific procedure on site and the estimated duration of the visit. At the end, the results of the audit are discussed with those responsible, who also decide how to proceed with the results.
