Therefore, we develop each assessment center very specifically and individually for each client after a thorough consultation regarding on-site needs. Within the assessment center, we employ a multi-method approach whenever possible to increase the overall validity of the evaluation. We propose both quantitative and qualitative characteristics as assessment criteria. However, the focus is not on making a specific hiring decision. Instead, they aim to evaluate an individual&#8217;s strengths and areas for development. Development centers can help uncover previously unknown talents and potential, or prepare individuals for future roles through specific development programs. They are often an integral part of internal talent management or a component of standardized development programs.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=&#8220;Individual Assessment&#8220; _builder_version=&#8220;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8220;default&#8220; body_text_color=&#8220;#FFFFFF&#8220; background_color=&#8220;#848484&#8243; background_enable_color=&#8220;on&#8220; hover_enabled=&#8220;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8220;{}&#8220; toggle_font_size=&#8220;14px&#8220; open=&#8220;off&#8220; sticky_enabled=&#8220;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>Unlike assessment centers, which are aimed at groups, an individual assessment (also called a management appraisal) focuses on a single person. In a workshop, usually lasting one day, this individual is examined to determine their fundamental suitability for a specific position or their potential beyond their current role. Using various aptitude diagnostic methods (multimodality), we create a personalized strengths and weaknesses profile based on preliminary discussions with our clients. The subsequent comparison between self-assessment and external perception provides valuable insights for self-reflection and personal development. Our methods capture key generic and success-relevant competencies in this context. Here, the sole focus is on the characteristic of &#8222;learning potential,&#8220; meaning the willingness and ability to adapt to new things as quickly as possible. No one can foresee which requirements will be important for a particular position in 10 or 20 years. However, one criterion is already clear today: those with greater learning potential will be more successful than others. These assessment centers consist not only of exploratory interviews but are enriched by spontaneous, situational exercises and presentations, which should be prepared in advance. A final debriefing session with all participants concludes the process, ultimately providing the basis for a decision. Numerous validly designed tests exist for human resources management, boasting impressively high predictive accuracy. However, the acceptance of test procedures varies considerably for a range of reasons. Over the past few years, we have also developed the expertise to reliably measure criteria that were previously considered difficult to assess.
